Plinny Phoenix is an international Singer, Vocal & Performance Coach and Founder of Better Voice Now.

Plinny has performed in Italy, the Canary Islands and Austria and can frequently be found performing with her band The Jaffa Cakes in Dublin, and has performed at fun places such as Aviva Stadium, Blooms Festival, Polska Eire Festival and Grand Social Pub.

She specializes in helping entrepreneurs and businesswoman to speak and use their voice like a Rockstar so that they can feel more confident and able to communicate their brand and their message to clients with authenticity and authority.

She helps also Singers of all levels to Discover their Inner Rockstar finding their signature sound, their superpowers and their real voice so that they can stand up and shine.
Her students learn also how to touch and move audiences so that they become the kind of singers they’ve always wanted to be!

EARLY CAREER

Plinny took her first steps in music, on stage at the “Triei Children Festival" in Italy and in the church choir at age of seven. At 9 years old, she wrote the music for a song in a school recital and at 11 she started flute lessons and music theory.

She made her debut working evenings at Piano Bar Aurora Disco Club in Bormio, with the musicians Gianluigi Pellegrini and Ivano Fizio. In 2009 she performed with the musician Antonello Grancagnolo at the infamous Hotel Colonna San Marco in Porto Rotondo Costa Smeralda in Italy.

 

LATER YEARS

Since 2012, she had participated in New Years Festivals, has been the front leader of two bands, co-creator and art director of the festival "Music & Friends" and co-founder and president of a Music Association (which organises music courses for adults and children) and singer at weddings and events.

She has studied guitar with the Maestro Giorgio Rubiu and piano with the Maestro Elena Nulchis (Andhira).

In 2013 Plinny won an important audition at the Tour Music Fest and was admitted to the TMF stage for Interpreters & Songwriters, at the infamous CET (important recording studio and music school) of the Maestro Mogol (most famous songwriter in Italy), working with the Vocal coaches Elena Bonanata, Cristina Greco and Davide Verdigris.

Since 2013 she used to be Vocal Coach of "Ugole D'Oro", a group of children 8/14 y.o. having performed in Sardinia - Italy.

From 2012 to the end of 2014, she performed in tourist places in Sardinia singing with different musicians and bands like Strings on Fire (blues and classic rock), Isos (rock), Stratos (classic rock and Italian songwriters). She also performed as a vocalist with DJ Mirko Dee and Marshall DJ (deep house) and collaborated with the Italian rappers Robertone (CTD Crew) and Tugu.

On October 2014 Plinny has been selected to be part of Pressandcom Europa Tour, performing in Civitavecchia - Italy (SkyTv live nationwide) and in Wien - Austria.

Since January 2015 she’s living and performing in Dublin and started tthe band Miss Phoenix & The Jaffa Cakes are now performing all around Dublin. 

Plinny is also a songwriter and performed her music both live and on Dublin's radio. On 2018 were released "My Way" a country song performed live the first time on Dublin City FM with The Dublin City Rounders. 

On December 2018 Plinny wrote the lyrics and gave the name to Mirko Dee DJ and his new music house project released with DeGeneration Label "40 Reasons".
