SINGER AND SONGWRITER
Plinny took her first steps in music, on stage at the “Triei Children Festival" and in the church choir at age of seven.At 9 years old. she wrote the music for a song in a school recital and at 11 she started flute lessons and music theory.
She made her debut working evenings at Piano Bar Aurora Disco Club in Bormio, with the musicians Gianluigi Pellegrini and Ivano Fizio. In 2009 she performed with the musician Antonello Grancagnolo at the infamous Hotel Colonna San Marco in Porto Rotondo Costa Smeralda in Italy.
Since 2012, she had participated in the New Year festival in Triei for two editions, singing with "Il Profilo" Band and with “Isos” (rock, classic rock, pop)
Plinny is co-creator and art-director of the festival "Music & Friends" concert for bands and singers, now in its 3rd edition.
She used to be co-founder and president of the Le Ginestre Music Association, which organizes music courses for adults and children in collaboration with the Municipality of Triei.
In 2012 she was front leader of two bands: Country’s Band and SP55 and special guest at the 40 years anniversary of “Il Profilo” Band.
She has studied guitar with the Maestro Giorgio Rubiu and piano with the Maestro Elena Nulchis (Andhira) since 2012.
BIOGRAPHY
In 2013 Plinny won an important audition at the Tour Music Fest and was admitted to the TMF stage for Interpreters & Songwriters, at the infamous CET (important recording studio) of the Maestro Mogol (most famous songwriter in Italy).
Since 2013 she used to be Vocal Coach of "Ugole D'Oro", a group of children 8/14 y.o. having performing in Ogliastra (Sardinia - Italy).
From 2012 to the end of 2014, she performed in tourist places in Sardinia singing with different musicians and bands like Strings on Fire (blues and classic rock), Isos (rock), Stratos (classic rock and Italian songwriters). She also performed as vocalist with DJ Mirko Dee and Marshall DJ (deep house) and collaborated with the Italian rappers Robertone (CTD Crew) and Tugu.
On October 2014 Plinny has been selected to be part of Pressandcom Europa Tour, performing in Civitavecchia - Italy (SkyTv live nationwide) and in Wien - Austria.
Since January 2015 she’s living in Dublin and started to work with Nicki Shira Byrne, one of the best Vocal & Success Coach in Ireland.
On January 2016 she founded a band with Dario Rodighiero (piano) and Paolo Zuddas (drums). The Jaffa Cakes are now performing all around Dublin and working on their first EP.
